Seedlip Tasting at the Ham Yard Hotel, 02 October, 2017
Today was an opportunity to not only explore a beautiful space in London above the Ham Yard Hotel, but also a further glimpse into the inspiring and budding Seedlip ‘operation’
I LOVE the Ham Yard Hotel, it has a great location to the West End and Mayfair. Sitting in the court yard you wouldn’t know you were in amongst the bustle of Piccadilly. It ticks so many boxes for a relaxed space in London for quiet meetings, business lunches and beautifully designed interiors by Kit Kemp to stay over-night if you are visiting London on business or pleasure. Ham Yard is always my recommendation in the West End area as a go to for clients looking for a casual, chique spot with a little privacy for meetings.
On this evening a couple of friends and I explore the Rooftop Terrace which is a rarity given you can only book the space out if you have relatively large numbers, say 50 plus and at £700 an hour it’s really a space to host events. The Roof Terrace boasts herb, salad and vegetable gardens, alongside in-residence bee hives and an array of fruit and olive trees. All nestled within the London skyline back drop.
This was a perfect setting for a brand inspired by the wild and natural world; Seedlip is the world’s first non-alcoholic spirit. Even in October going into winter I would happily enjoy this heated rooftop and take up the offer of a woven blanket making it a cosy and intimate setting for an occasional soiree during the winter months.
To learn more about Seedlip and its Founder Ben Branson I recommend this interview brought yo you by The Challenger Project.
